The podcasting subscription model is attempting to take hold on WiredParish, a  christian podcast site is charging $ 6.95 for subscriptions to their hosted podcasts.

Hmmm, I wonder what will stick, with free christian podcasts available by the hundreds at Religious Podcasts it will be interesting to watch.
