When deciding on your blogging platform it is very important to carefully research and consider the pros and cons of having a self hosted blog or one of the many free blogs available on the net such as - wordpress or blogger. I am going to start with some pro’s and con’s of each that way you will have a better understanding of self hosted and “free blogging” platforms.
